With the African aviation industry playing a pivotal role in the continent's economy by supporting millions of jobs and substantial economic activity, the summit aims to address the evolving needs of customers in the dynamic industry. By facilitating discussions, networking. and fostering a competitive business environment, the summit strives to enhance the aviation innovation landscape in Africa, encouraging participants to adapt to industry shifts and exploit business opportunities for mutual growth in the region.

Allan Kilavuka serves as the Group Managing Director and CEO of Kenya Airways Plc and holds non- executive board positions in its subsidiaries, Jambojet and Precision Air. With over 23 years of leadership and management experience, Allan is highly experienced in initiating and managing organizations, facilitating change, financial planning, integration, process improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Before joining KQ, Allan played a pivotal role in the turnaround of GE Power Services Africa and GE Industrial Solutions, based in South Africa.

Allan Kilavuka serves as the Group Managing Director and CEO of Kenya Airways Plc and holds non-executive board positions in its subsidiaries, Jambojet and Precision Air. With over 23 years of leadership and management experience, Allan is highly experienced in initiating and managing organizations, facilitating change, financial planning, integration, process improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Before joining KQ, Allan played a pivotal role in the turnaround of GE Power Services Africa and GE Industrial Solutions, based in South Africa. His career began at Deloitte East Africa in Nairobi, specializing in audit, accounting, outsourcing, and custodianship. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Nairobi, a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychology from the University of Liverpool, and has received advanced training in executive leadership, advanced management, and financial planning at GE's Crotonville Leadership Institute in New York.

Mr. Berthé was the CEO of Air Mali and Air Burkina. He has 35 years of experience in the airline industry and a total of 16 years as an airline CEO. Mr. Berthé’s career is a testament to his adaptability and versatility, with a global impact. He has worked in various airlines and multicultural environments, spanning Europe and Africa. His diverse positions in aircraft performance and dispatch engineering, maintenance and operations quality, ground operations, and Chief Executive Officer have left significant expertise in the industry.

Abdérahmane is graduated from: - French Civil Aviation School in Toulouse (1987 Master of Engineering). - French Aeronautical and Space school in Toulouse (1988 Master of Science) - Business Institute in Toulouse (1989 Master of Business Administration) He also obtained a Private Pilot License in 1985 for single-engine aircraft.

Abderahmane Berthe is the Secretary General of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA). Before joining AFRAA, he served as Chief Executive Officer for Air Mali and Air Burkina. With twenty-eight years of experience in the airline industry across Africa and Europe, he has a wealth of multi-disciplinary experience in aircraft performance, dispatch engineering, maintenance & quality operations, and ground operations. Abderahmane received his Master’s degrees from the French Civil Aviation school in Toulouse (1987), French Aeronautical and Space School in Toulouse (1988), and the Business Institute of Toulouse (1989). He is a licensed private pilot for single engine aircrafts.
